Bella Vista residents have many avenues to help address neighborhood street trash problems. Solutions range from filing complaints on illegal dumping to participating in the clean-ups organized by city and local agencies (including Bella Vista Town Watch).
NEIGHBORHOOD BLOCK CLEAN-UPS
ILLEGAL DUMPING Illegal dumping not in progress can be reported via a form offered in the “Illegal Dumping” link found at http://potholes.phila.gov/csstreets. Detailed illegal dumping information, including contact information for city sites that accept household trash and private contractors that recycle construction debris or accept bulk trash and construction debris, can be found here: http://www.phila.gov/streets/illegal_dumping.html. The Dept of Streets Sanitation Yard for South Philly is located at 63rd west of Passyunk Ave. The Supervisor is Martin Mellet.
